Sunday night’s smile I live for Sunday nights The lure of bright street lights And empty roads Taking me back home To my humble abode To my little retreat And be resting my feet From the week just past Back home at last And not a moment too fast Away from the music Away from the spotlight Away from the crowds I could easily shout aloud Another week done At last it’s time to have some fun My time to relax To sit & analyze the facts Time for me to chill It’s my weekly pill NOTE: This really sums up the euphoria I feel on a Sunday night after finishing work in Newcastle under Lyme Edwards. I Love the drive home after Sundays knowing that there is no more DJ-ing until Wednesday night. I totally and utterly love my job. I am so lucky and privileged to do what I do for a living. When I am there I am the entertainer in the spot light & I do love every minute. But at the end of the day it’s my job and like any job it’s great to finish work and go and have some fun. Monday’s and Tuesdays are so special to me. It’s when I get to spend quality time with Sam (my wife) and James (my boy) watch a bit of TV, or go for a nice meal. Just generally chill without feeling I have to be a performer constantly being funny or on show. Sunday night Midnight until 1a.m. Monday morning I am driving home Beaming literally beaming with Happiness. It’s the best part of the week.
